Joe Smith Obituary
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Phillips Smith; children, Mary Jane Smith, Luther Smith and Teresa Smith Godbold; siblings, Jimi Louise Kadrey, Claude Smith, Philip Smith, Fannie Mae Wingard and Aubrey Douglas Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Jean Henline Smith; children, Joe William Smith, Jr., Aubrey Tilton Smith and Mary Zelma McConnell and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Chaplain Samuel Duff officiating. Interment will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m., prior to the service.
The funeral will be streamed live online, via the funeral home's Facebook page, at facebook.com/LawrenceFH
