In Loving Memory of

Joe M. Urbano Jr.

08/17/1953 - 09/24/2025

Our beloved brother, Joe M. Urbano Jr. entered eternal rest on September 24, 2025 at the age of 72. He was born on August 17, 1953 to Joe M. and Nora D. Urbano.

Joe was an exceptional student. He played the clarinet and oboe in high school and was in the marching band. Joe was Student Council President and was 3rd ranked of 400 in his graduating class. He had the honor of being named "Who's who among American High School Students."

Joe served in the United States Air Force from 1972 to 1976. He then started his career with the FBI in Washington, D.C. Joe came back to take care of our mother. He did an extraordinary job, never leaving her sight.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Joe M. and Nora D. Urbano and his sister, Norma Jean Aguillon. He is survived by his sisters Esther U. Thomas, brother-in-law Roger, Maryann Ramirez, Carolyn U. Casillas, brother-in-law Robert, and brother Richard J. Urbano, sister-in-law Maria, Nephews Dezi Ramirez (wife Nelly), Eric Thomas (wife Atiya), Bryan Thomas, Marc Aguillon, and Robert J. Casillas. Nieces Melissa M. Stahl (husband David), Andrea Ramirez, and Brianna M. Hernandez (husband John David).

Joe will be remembered as a devoted son, a loving brother, and uncle. May he rest in eternal peace.

The viewing and service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Baptist Temple Church located at 901 E Drexel Ave, San Antonio, TX 78210 followed by his internment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
