Joe Allen Williams, age 60, of Lily, KY, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Kenvir, KY, Joe was a beacon of loyalty and love, embodying these values in every aspect of his vibrant life. His military service in the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm was a testament to his courage, and his subsequent work with Keavy D.A.V. showcased his enduring dedication to his fellow veterans. Joe was not just a man of action but also of faith, as a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ, he cherished his church family with the same intensity he brought to all his relationships.
Joe's dedication extended to his professional life, where he served in various factory jobs, often as a supervisor. He worked for 12 years with Jackson WWS in Gray, KY, and retired in 2014. Yet, what mattered most to Joe were his relationships. He was a loving husband, a supportive father, a cherished papaw, and a loyal friend. To know Joe was to love Joe, and his absence will be deeply felt by those who had the privilege to know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ervin Williams and Anna Flo Buttery Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife, Louise Williams; son, Joshua Williams and wife Shawnda, and their children, Caleb, Jordyn, and Lilyanne Williams; son, Jacob Williams and wife Whitney, and their son Harrison Williams; son, Nathan Williams and wife Kim, and their children, Aliviah, Hayden, and Addisyn Williams; daughter, Courtney Watkins, and her daughters, Zoey and Kyleigh Taylor; son, Darren Watkins Jr. and fiancé Cheyenne Evans, and children, Bailee Watkins, Bentlee Watkins, Jerry Evans, and Braxton Evans; daughters, Britney Melder and Samantha Melder; and sons, Christopher Melder and Floyd Melder; and sisters, Sharon Maiville and husband Aaron, Lena Hill and husband, Mike, and Peggy Williams.
