Joel Machtay Obituary
He was the husband of the late Lenore Machtay; father of Dr. Mitchell (Dr. Korina) Machtay; grandfather of Rachel (Michael), Alexander and Sabrina and the brother of the late Alvin Machtay.
Graveside services are Thursday, February 5, 2026, beginning 11:00AM at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY.
Contributions in Joel's memory may be made to the Penn State College of Medicine General Scholarship Fund in Memory of Joel Machtay. If a check is sent, checks should be made payable to "Penn State," with "Medicine General Scholarship" noted in the memo and mailed to the Development Office with thanks to Dr. Eileen Moser at P.O.
