Joel Mason Obituary
He was born on November 21, 1977, in Kingwood, WV, a son of Orval James Mason and Lillian Fern (Short) Mason of Kingwood, WV.
After graduating high school, Joel received an associates degree at computer school in Fairmont, WV. Joel was a mechanic for Kubota in Oakland, MD. He enjoyed the outdoors, four-wheeler riding, was very mechanically inclined and could fix anything, and was an avid storyteller.
In addition to his parents, Joel is survived by a daughter, Gracie Marie Mason; two sisters, Yolonda Leane Newbraugh and Melissa Diane Morris; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a special uncle, Luke Short.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Orval James "O.J." Mason, III and two brothers-in-law, Danny Newbraugh and Paul Morris.
The Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta, WV, will provide professional and compassionate cremation services. Inurnment will be held at the Sunset Memorial Gardens on a later date.
