Joel Michael Prickett, came into this world on a beautiful day May 26, 1991 and passed May 14, 2023. He was such a welcome joy into our family after having lost his maternal grandfather, Ross Massie in 1990. Joel was loved and cherished by many people from all walks of life. His passing has left a hole in our hearts, but we know that we will be reunited eternally, never to be separated again.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Jolynda Massie Prickett and Jeffery Prickett, his sister Jessica "Sissy" Banks whom he loved and adored and her husband Justin Banks that he loved like a brother. Chearl McGrath was also considered Aunt Chearl and always was included in Joel's life events as well as his "miracle cat" Memers.
Joel was lucky to have a second string of parents in his Aunt Dede (Juana Ard) and Uncle Joe (Joe Ard) and his cousin Jonathan Shelton they were the lucky ones that he brought so much joy into their lives. His grandparents Ross and Juanita Massie and Jim and Colleen Prickett preceded him in death. His aunt Cheryl "E" Shelton and John Shelton also preceded him in death.
Family will receive friends Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11 AM to time of service 12 noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 700 Clough Pike. He will be laid to rest at Batavia Union Cemetery next to his maternal and paternal grandparents. You can't separate our clan even in death. Moore Family Funeral Homes serving the family.
