Joel Spade Obituary

Spade Joel Edward Jan. 1, 1940 - Feb. 26, 2025 Age 85, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Joel was born in Rochester, NY to his late parents, Joseph and Dorothy (Meredith) Spade. He graduated from Madison High School in 1957, and proudly served in the United States Coast Guard, an experience that instilled in him a sense of discipline and duty that he carried throughout his life. Furthering his education, Joel earned a Master of Business Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. His pursuit of knowledge as an engineer contributed meaningfully to the community. Joel lived for nearly 50 years in the Rochester, NY area before relocating to Bucks County, PA. Joel's legacy is lovingly cherished by his family. He is survived by his devoted daughter and son, Jennifer MacLaren and Justin Spade; brother, Richard Spade, and sister, Linda Meisenhelder. They will remember his strong work ethic and ideologies as guiding principles in their lives. At the family's request, Services will be private. Online condolences at: glenvillefuneralhome.com
