DRACUT - Joette M. (Mussaw) Lussier, beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Born on December 18, 1953, in Elmira, New York, Joette was the cherished daughter of Edward Mussaw and the late Elsie (Reimer) Mussaw.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert Lussier, and her devoted daughters, Danielle (Lussier) DeBoer and her husband Hank DeBoer, and Allison (Lussier) Scott and her wife Jennifer Scott. She was the proud grandmother of Damon Alexander Jr., Deven Alexander, and Vanessa Morgan, and the adoring great-grandmother of Elaina Cordero. She was also the loving sister of William Mussaw and the late Sharon (Mussaw) Stuart.

Joette lived a full and beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Her strength, kindness, and selflessness touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her larger-than-life personality was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed. Joette’s legacy of love, her spirit of strength, and her zest for life will continue to shine brightly through all the lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to Joette’s Life Celebration on Thursday, from 3 until 7 PM, at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Relatives and friends may gather at the Funeral Home Friday morning starting at 9 AM to join with her family prior to her Funeral Service which will begin at 10 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
