McKenna-Ouellette Funeral HomeDRACUT - Jeanette A. Iby passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on October 17, 2025. She was a loving wife and soul mate of Robert C. Iby.
She was born in Burlington, VT and attended Burlington High School where she met Bob Iby. When he got out of the service after 2 years and many letters later, they were married. They were inseparable. Their love and commitment to each other, their family and friends was the foundation of their lives together.
Jeanette signed up for the 1st class offered of the Practical Nursing Program at Lowell High School. Then worked for Dr. Ryan after graduating. She had been a member of St. Michael’s Church, Lowell for over 70 years and more recently a member of St. Francis Church. She served as a Eucharistic Minister and several other organizations, St. Dominic, work for the poor, taught CCD classes, visited Parishioners at their homes and nursing homes. She was a proud member of Catholic Daughters of America; she would drive cancer patients to hospital appointments and offered support to those in need. She was a member of Dracut Scholarship foundation and was very active in the Dracut Women’s Organization. After retirement Jen and husband Bob enjoyed traveling and family gatherings.
She is predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Iby, daughter, Paula K. Iby, brother in-law Wendell Iby and sister in-law Yvette Iby. She is survived by daughter Jill Gulbicki and husband Charles, son Jack Iby and wife Melissa, daughter Robin Landsteiner and husband William, son Robert Iby and wife Wendy, and son Eric Iby and wife Cheryl. There are 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jeanette and Robert’s Funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Church, 115 Wheeler Rd, Dracut, MA. Burial will follow in the Richardson Cemetery, Dracut.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeanette's memory may be sent to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114 or a charity of your choice.

The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
