Johanna Liebert

Johanna "Joanne" Liebert, of Huntingdon Valley, passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 98. She was born in Manheim, Germany to the late Christian and the late Johanna Fuhr. Johanna was the beloved wife of the late John Liebert; mother of Joanne Kalish and her late husband Paul, Debbie Pastore and her husband Anthony, and the late John Liebert and his wife Terry Collier; grandmother of Debbie, Kelly, John, Cherri, Michelle, and Joanne; great-grandmother of Jake, Devin, Jason, Sean, and Ashley; great-great-grandmother of Honi, Dillon, Caleb, Leanna, Denise, Dwaine, Joshua, Jenna, Ariel, and Alex; sister of the late Gertrude Sewter and her late husband Joseph; she is also survived by a loving extended family.

She emigrated to the U.S. at the age of 10, attended St. Boniface Catholic Church in Philadelphia and married the love of her life at the age of 21. She was an excellent seamstress, was employed by Fisher & Porter approximately 27 years. Her children and others will attest to her being a wonderful wife, a strict disciplinarian and most of all a loving and endearing mother, and grand-parent who will be dearly missed.
