John Adamcik, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, CT, Passes away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 85.
Born on February 6, 1940, John was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Verga) Adamcik, and grandson of John Adamick. He attended several local schools in Mansfield and graduated from Windham High School in June 1958.
John worked for 25 years at Brand- Rex in Willimantic, CT but often said his best years were spent at Leiss Velvet, also in Willimantic. Dedicated and hardworking. He took pride in his career and the friendships he built along the way.
A kind and giving member of his community, John volunteered his time at the Mansfield Senior Center, where he found joy and companionship among friends and neighbors. He often expressed deep gratitude to everyone there, saying “My thanks to the wonderful people at the Mansfield Senior Center.”
