Vassar- Our compassionate and loyal father, papa, and brother John Quincy Adams IV passed away on October 3, 2022. He was 61.
John was born on December 18,1960 to the late John III and Jacqueline Adams, in Saginaw, MI. I married Cindy Lou Gidding June 30, 1984. Together they had two children. John was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Vassar, Mi where he ushered and served on the board. He was a big history buff and had a huge passion for photography. He enjoyed camping, and fishing. Most important to John was his family. They were his everything and he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. He will be dearly missed by so many.
John is forever loved by his wife, Cindy Lou. His two children; Shannon Lee (Gary) Essenmacher, and John Quincy (Krissy) Adams V. His five grandchildren; John Joseph Adams, Arya Elizabeth Essenmacher, Kathryn Nicole Essenmacher, John Quincy Admas VI, and Jolene Lynn Adams. Cousin Mark Conway. Mother-in-law Betty Lou Giddings. Sister and brother in laws; Phyllis Enos, Edward (Dagmar) Giddings, Nancy Giddings, Thomas (Linda) Giddings. As well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Besides his parents, welcoming John home, is his sister, Jennifer Adams; father-in-law, Robert L. Giddings. Brother and sister in laws; Robert Giddings, Roy and Bonnie Giddings, Ricky Giddings, and Rex Giddings.
The family would like to invite you to Hanlin Funeral Home Vassar Chapel (1148 W. Saginaw Rd. Vassar, MI 48768). On Friday, October 7, 2022, for a time of visiting from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. The funeral for John will be on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Vassar, MI at 11:00 a.m. with a time of visiting beginning at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers please make a memorial contribution to the Adams family.
