John Robert Adams, of Warrenton, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Sally L. Adams; cherished son of the late George Julius and Ruby Elizabeth Adams; devoted father of Michael (Joan) Adams and Heather (Richard) Farrar; loving grandfather of Anthony, Adam, Amanda, Anna, and Ainsley Farrar; treasured great grandfather of Jillian, Ivy, Giovanni, Maria, Tavi, and James; dear brother of the late Debbie Schwent.
John proudly and honorably served in the United States Army and later retired from Mallinckrodt in 1991. A passionate Revolutionary War and Early National Period reenactor with the Trappers of Starved Rock, he was also a talented artist, skilled woodworker, master hornsman, dedicated historian, and a gifted storyteller. John was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Shriners Hospital.
