John Amaral, of North Providence, passed away unexpectedly on January 13 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was born on October 28, 1958, and was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Barbara Amaral of North Providence.
John is survived by his loving siblings: Cheryl Marino of Johnston; Joseph Amaral Jr. and his wife JoAnn of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; and Steven Amaral and Karen Amaral, both of Johnston. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Johnny spent many years living in Florida with his oldest brother, where he worked for Kmart Corporation, before eventually returning to Rhode Island. He had a great love for animals and enjoyed watching the Miami Dolphins, playing keno, and spending time with family and friends. Known for his happy-go-lucky spirit, John was always willing to lend a helping hand with any project and brought warmth and laughter wherever he went.
Above all, John was a devoted and loving son. He spent countless hours caring for his mother during her time of need, a role he embraced with compassion and love. He now reunites with her, welcomed with open arms.
John will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
