LUCY LIU
November 25, 2025
John has always held a very special place in my heart. To me, he was not only a respected business partner, but also like a senior family member-kind, warm, and full of passion for life.
We first worked together in 2009, and through all the years that followed, he supported us like a true mentor. I still remember the time when my boss Mr. Xu and I drove with John from Houston to Las Vegas for the show. We walked through difficult times together, and those memories are deeply treasured.
In 2024, when I traveled again to the U.S., I hoped to meet him, but sadly we missed the chance. He had proudly shared with me that he had lost weight and felt as energetic as a 30-year-old. Every call with him was filled with enthusiasm. I truly believed we would continue working together for another 20 years before he retired.
The news of his passing came so suddenly and left me heartbroken. I don´t know what challenges he faced in his final days, but I will always remember him for his kindness, his honesty, and the encouragement he gave me for so many years.
John, thank you for everything. You will always be missed.
With deepest sympathy,
Lucy
