John Charles Armock, age 84, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away peacefully surrounded by the love
of his family at his home on Monday, September 1, 2025. He was born May 17, 1941, in Sparta, MI, to
the late Charles and Mildred (Vanofflen) Armock. John proudly served his country in the United States
Navy during the Cuban crisis. He retired from General Motors in October 1999, as a quality control
manager after 37 years with them. He loved taking care of his yard and going walleye fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jackie (Butler) Armock; 6 children, Dave (Norma) Johnson, Julie
Kramer, Angela (Gary) Grice, Robert Armock, Melissa (Jeff) Foster, and Scott (Kristi) Armock; 18
grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sister, Annabelle Dunneback; sister-in-law, Judy Armock; and
many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Donald Armock, Carl (Candy) Armock, and
Lewis Armock; and brother-in-law, Les Dunneback.

Gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00
am at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, MI 49321, with a memorial service
starting at 11:00 am followed by military honors rendered by the United States Navy and the Kent
County Veterans Honor Guard.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Corewell Health Hospice for all of their
help and comfort throughout this difficult time.
