John Thomas Badgley

John Thomas Badgley 56, of White Hall Arkansas passed away on September 26, 2022, in his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born on April 15,1966 to the late Thomas John Badgley and Rita Anne Stock-Badgley. He was raised in the Town of Tonawanda, Buffalo, NY, where he graduated from Kenmore East High School. He played football and was a diver on the school swim team.
John joined the Army in 1985 and served for ten years where he achieved the rank of Sgt. He was in the 18th Infantry where he operated a Bradley Combat Vehicle, and was Drill Sergeant, before being Honorably Discharged in 1994.
He has been in EMS since that day, serving people through out the Great State of Arkansas. He started his EMS career in 1995 at Monticello Ambulance Service before moving to Pine Bluff to start work at Emergency Ambulance Services Inc. (formally known as Ron Lusby's). He remained at EASI for 26 years. He was the Operations Director when he had to leave because he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma IV. John proudly served on the board of the Arkansas Ambulance Association from 2009-2021. John also served on the Jefferson County Sheriff Office as a Special Deputy and a paramedic with the Pine Bluff Police Department S.W.A.T. Team.
John also enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, golf and love his Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. He was a proud Member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, where he was baptized August 21, 2017. He was a dedicated member and loved his church family.
In 2001, John and little brother (Bill Beadle) brought Santa to White Hall Community and continued until December 2021. What a wonderful way to give back to the community and they did just that. Many children's eyes would light up when that fire truck would come around.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Christy Stewart Badgley whom he married August 10, 1999; daughters Briana Badgley and Kayla Badgley; son Wade James; grandchildren Landon James and Kadon James and Addison Grace Badgley; sister Sharin Badgley (Michelle), brothers Michael Badgley (Tammy) and Jim Badgley (Suzanne) all from Buffalo, NY; nieces Autumn Stewart Massanelli (Collin) of Norfolk, VA, Julia Badgley, Madison Badgley and Kenzie Badgley of Buffalo, NY. Great Nephew David Christian Massanelli of Norfolk, VA
Visitation will be Monday, October 3, 2022 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at White Hall Community Center. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Tuesday, October 4, 2022 starting out at 10:00 AM at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
