Mel & Jen, it is with great fondness & respect that I look back at the time I spent with John at Cahokia High School. What an amazingly talented and kind man he was! He was an inspiration to many at CHS. In my administrative role, it took me no time at all to realize how fortunate both the high school and the district were to have him among us. He was an asset to students and staff, but more importantly, he was a really cool and special person. Please know that John and you are a part of our daily prayers. Rich & Carolyn Buxton

Just wanted to convey my sympathy and sorrow to both of you for John's passing. I look fondly on those days when all of us were trying to make a difference in bringing technology and information to the students and staff of the Cahokia School District. A lot of people contributed to that success, however, John was the "Keystone". His expertise and willingness to think outside the box was the driving force in making technology and access a reality.
He was patient, and always there to give guidance and knowledge to those with less technological experience. But moreover, "he was just a really good guy". What a great way to be remembered.
