John Beaty Obituary

Visit the Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc website to view the full obituary.

John Warren Beaty, a fearless soul who embraced the wild spirit of the cowboy, departed this life on February 25, 2026, in Saratoga, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of adventure and independence that will be felt for generations. Born on October 5, 1957, in Beaumont, Texas, John was a true outlaw at heart, a man who reveled in the embrace of nature and the thrill of outdoor escapades.

John's life was a tapestry woven with memories of rugged landscapes and starry nights spent under the canvas of a tent, often punctuated by the company of those he loved. Whether he was riding horses or running a trot line, he found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. His family might find him on a secluded sandbar or deep in the woods, relishing the moments of solitude and the peace that only nature could provide. He was known for strapping on his big pistol, a badge of his untamed lifestyle, and for the way he would meticulously clean his knife to share a meal of pimento cheese sandwiches with family, conveying love through acts of service that exemplified his caring spirit.

In his youth, John was not only a master horseman but also a fierce competitor, riding bulls and broncs, showcasing the tenacity that defined his life. He imparted this virility onto his children, training them and putting them on the rankest of horses at Huffman Livestock Auction barn money could by, ensuring they could ride as confidently and bravely as he did. His legacy is perhaps best captured in the resilience he instilled in his children—Colt Beaty and wife Heather, Anna Beaty, Andy Beaty, Chessie Payne and husband Daniel, and Chloe Beaty—an inheritance of strength that speaks volumes of his character.

Though his life embraced the edge, John grew into a man who realized the deeper meaning of existence in the latter years. He generously gave up his outlaw ways, finding peace and purpose through his faith in Jesus. This transformation marked a significant chapter in his life, one that he embraced with an open heart, welcoming the love from his devoted wife, Meia Beaty, who stood alongside him through every adventure and challenge.

John is also remembered fondly by his siblings, Jimmy Beaty and Vicki Beaty, and the vibrant clan of grandchildren—Caleb Brown, Cayden Brown, Trista Beaty, Reid Stanley, Georgia Payne, Darci Beaty, Troy Payne, Levi Beaty, and Blake “Gus” Payne—as well as his beloved great-grandchild, Clyde Aaron Brown. Each of them carries a piece of his free spirit and legacy, a lasting testament to a man who lived undauntedly.

His spirit is now reunited with those who predeceased him, including his father, TS Beaty; his mother, Geneva Young Beaty; and his son, Andrew "Andy" Warren Beaty. Together, they find new adventures in the afterlife, united by the love that transcends even death.

In remembrance of John Warren Beaty, family and friends are invited to celebrate his extraordinary life. Visitation will be held at New Life Church Batson, located at 42493 Texas 105, Batson, TX 77519, on March 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on March 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at New Life Church Batson with Pastor Bill Campbell officiating. He will then be laid to rest at Guedry Cemetery at 11713 Batson Prairie Road, Batson, TX 77519, at 3:00 PM, where he will forever remain a part of the rich Texas landscape that he cherished so dearly.

Honoring him as pallbearers are Colt Beaty, Caleb Brown, Cayden Brown, Daniel Payne, Aaron Brown, and Jack Scott. Honorary pallbearers are Reid Stanley, Troy Payne, Blake “Gus” Payne and Levi Beaty.

As we say goodbye to a treasured outlaw, let us carry his adventurous spirit in our hearts, a reminder to embrace life with the same vivacity and exuberance that John Beaty exemplified daily.
