John Ogden Beechner, Jr., 59, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024.
He was born June 24, 1965 in St. Joseph to John Ogden Beechner, Sr., and Dixie (King) Beechner.
He was a mechanic who most recently worked at Porrfirio and H&R Auto. John was very talented with his hands, whether it was working on cars, building things, or playing drums, violin and guitar.
John enjoyed fishing and camping.
The most important thing to John was his family. He was a genuine guy who knew no strangers, a real friend to everyone who reminded us to "Be a kid at heart."
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dustin; and granddaughter, Jozlyn.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Gillpatrick; children, Danyelle Beechner, Shanin Ellsworth (Scott), Amanda Gillpatrick, and Rocky Gillpatrick II (Heather); grandchildren, Alivia Wood, Noah Wood, Emma Gillpatrick, Harper Gillpatrick, Allie Gillpatrick, and Taylor Sigrist; "his boys", Duke, Max and Prince; siblings, Jackie Beechner and Jay Beechner; extended family and friends.
