Memorial gathering will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:30 PM at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. A memorial service will follow at 5:30 PM at the same location.
John worked for FDNY.
In order to honor John's memory, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

John always had stories to tell. Because of his storytelling , he reminded me of my Dad who passed just a few years ago . I enjoyed listening to my Daddy so much . I was so glad my father sent John to tell me stories too.

For part of the last year I was John's neighbor and we spent time telling stories to each other. I came back for Thanksgiving to find out he had gone on to NYFD heaven. I'm sad. Iwish his family the deepest peace possible

John was such a gentle man. He came to church on Sundays with his dog Gracie. He had quite a following So sorry us on earth but happy he is in Heaven.
