John D. Bianco

John D. Bianco, 90, of Verona, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland, New Jersey 07068. Condolences and memories may be shared at shookfarmer.com. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona, New Jersey. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, New Jersey.
John was born and raised in Mount Vernon and New Rochelle, New York. After marrying, he lived in East Orange and later settled in Verona. A proud and hardworking man, John founded John D. Bianco Contractors, Inc. in 1965 in East Orange, specializing in sheetrock and insulation work. Through dedication, skill, and perseverance, he built a respected business that he later relocated to Verona. John retired in 2007.
In his spare time, John cherished being with his family, especially gathering at the family shore house in Mantoloking. He took great joy in sharing meals, stories, and memories with those he loved most.
In his early years, he belonged to several clubs, where he trained and raced pigeons and won many awards, a passion he enjoyed for many years.
He was a car enthusiast and over the years drove and enjoyed many fine cars.
John was predeceased by his parents, John F. and Carmela Bianco.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie A. (Abondolo) Bianco; his devoted children, John A. Bianco, Florence DeLuisi and her husband Jerry, Linda Costa and her husband Angelo, Daniel Bianco and his wife Laura; his cherished grandchildren, Gerald DeLuisi and his wife Frani, Marissa DeNoia and her husband Edmund, Anthony Bianco, Angelo Costa and Gina Bianco; his treasured great-grandchildren, Gerald, Danica, Bianca and Brielle DeLuisi, Rocco and Dominic DeNoia; and his dear siblings, Frank Bianco, Roger Bianco and Angela Amorosano.
