Our dear John went to meet the Lord on Jun 17, 2025, at age 69. He is preceded in death by his father Marvin Oscar Bippert, his sister Michele Inez Taylor, brothers-in-law, Michael Taylor and Lee Goodwill. He is survived by his mother Ann Louise (Crawford) Bippert, son, Travis (Raechel) Bippert, granddaughter Autumn Bippert, brother Charles (Cindy) Bippert, sisters Rosanne Goodwill, Nanette (Victor) Poole, nieces Lara (Will) Goodwill Ruby, Danielle (Scott) Poole Milam, nephew Martin (Kimberly) Poole and numerous other friends and family.
John was born on February 28, 1956, in Castroville, Texas. He was the first son of Marvin and Ann Louise and the first grandson on both sides of the family. When John was 4, the family moved to Weslaco, Texas, where he enjoyed the next seven years being a kid and attending school and church. The family then moved to San Antonio, so Marvin could work on the Farm with his father. John worked on the farm most summers.
After graduating from John Jay High School, John enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at Bergstrom AFB. He married and had an adorable red-headed son. After the Air Force he worked for American Express for a few years. Then, he worked for the City of San Antonio as a Road inspector and started his own business St Tropez Pool and Landscape. He was unable to work after he had a brain Aneurism burst in 1987.
Ann Louise took care of John for many years. His humor and sly looks will be missed by his family.
The family would like to thank Circle of Life Hospice for their care in his last few weeks.
