John Blizzard Obituary
went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2026 at the age of 58. He was a devoted son, brother and friend. Known to many as Jaybird, JJ was a kind, steady presence and of generous heart. He left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. JJ lived life with joy. He loved riding his Harley, feeling the freedom of the open road. He loved music just as deeply. JJ loved creating his own sound, jamming with his buddies or playing with his band Slack Tide. Music was more than a passion, it was his voice. In the early aughts, JJ was also a radio personality at 102.7 WJSE where he shared his love of music with the community. JJ found his second family in his colleagues and friends at Atlantic County Harley-Davidson, where he was a dedicated employee. He touched countless hearts with his kindness, professionalism and love of the ride. JJ will be remembered for his generosity of spirit, his loyalty to those he loved and the many meaningful connections he formed throughout his life. JJ is predeceased by his father, Dr. John J. Blizzard, Sr. and is survived by his mother, Linda Benvenuti, his brother Jeff Blizzard, (Pam), sister Linda Marrandino (Paul), and his nephews, Zach Blizzard and Dylan and Drew Marrandino. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 11:30am-1:00pm at George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood, NJ 08221. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in JJ's honor to David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation, davidsdreamandbelieve.org.
