John Adam Boehm Jr.

John "Jack" Boehm, passed away September 19, 2024 at home surrounded by family.
John was born on November 4, 1940 to John Boehm, Sr. and Dagny Kragness in Wausau, WI and a lifelong resident of Alexandria, VA, Sperryville, VA and New Auburn, WI. His work was respected far and wide; he was known as "The Best Marble Setter on The East Coast."
He is survived by his daughters Shawn Puryear (spouse Herbert), Dawn Edwards (partner David) and his granddaughter Lexy Puryear. He also leaves behind his loving sisters Phyllis Sapyta (Alex) and Victoria Boehm, nieces Pam Sapyta, Sheron Howard (David) and nephews John Sapyta and Doug Lyons (Carleigh). He is predeceased by his wife Grace Boehm and parents John and Dagny Boehm.
John was a devoted father and loving husband who loved NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed scuba diving, hunting, fishing, fixing cars and owning a Christmas tree farm. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Dr., Alexandria, VA on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 11AM, with a reception at the Franconia Moose Lodge to follow.
