John Anthony Bossert of Kersey, CO passed away at his home on October 24, 2021 at the age of 35.
John was born December 8, 1985 in Loveland, CO to Trisha Ohmie. He was the first grandchild on both sides of his family. In 1990 he gained the bonus dad who raised him and loved him like his own. He grew up in the Loveland/ Fort Collins area where he attended local elementary schools, Conrad Ball Middle School, and Mountain View High School. In 2013 he moved to Ault, CO and then to Kersey, CO in 2016. He never liked to venture too far from home.

In 2009 John was blessed with his first son Josh Ryan Bossert. A second son Skylar Aiden Bossert followed in 2011 and finally a daughter Kenzie Leona Bossert in 2019. John loved his kids and was most content hanging out with them. He came from a big family and had 5 siblings and 12 nieces and nephews.
John was an avid Broncos fan even in the bad times of the team. He also liked to watch wrestling. He enjoyed playing video games and was our families go-to tech guy. He was never to busy to help or play with his kids and nephews/nieces. He was also passionate about the Wounded Warrior Project.
John is survived by his parents, Trisha and Lonnie Turner Jr ; his children Josh, Skylar, and Kenzie Bossert ; his sisters Lisa Todd (Joshua), Stephanie Boyer (Jacob), Jessica Turner (Lance Jenkins); his brothers Bruce Buhr (Elizabeth) and Lonnie Turner 3rd (Kiersi Cross); his grandmothers Patricia Ohmie and Nadine Matson; his wife Rebekah Capper; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents Harry Ohmie Jr and Lonnie & Stella Turner. Also by his great-grandmother Leona Webb who he was especially close to.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland on Monday November 1, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. a reception will directly follow the service.
Donations can be made in John's honor to The Wounded Warrior Project or The Suicide Prevention Hotline.
