John James Boyle Jr., 75, of Springtown, Texas passed away at Medical City Fort Worth, Texas on July 23, 2025 with family members at his side.
Graveside Service: 9:00 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2025 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Tx.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2025 at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, TX.
He was born on August 26, 1949 to John James Boyle Sr. and Eileen Priscilla Boyle (Kohnen) in Ellwood, Pennsylvania. John resided in Pennsylvania until he was 18 when he joined the Air Force and served in the Vietnam War, eventually becoming a Sergeant at the end of his military career. He was in the Air Force for 15 years where he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and numerous others. John was stationed all over the world, including England and Vietnam, eventually settling in Texas.
After the Air Force, John worked for the City of Fort Worth until retiring. Once retired, John spent most of his time with his grandchildren and was often found cooking and baking. He was also an avid fan of Football, favoring the Pittsburgh Steelers.
John is preceded in death by his Father; John James Boyle Sr., Mother; Eileen Priscilla Boyle (Kohnen), and Sister; Denise J. Sinz (Boyle).
He is survived by Daughter; Jennifer and husband Kevin Landers. Sons; John and wife Brandie Boyle, and Marty Boyle and partner Jess. Grandchildren; Aimee Landers, Brittany Landers, Aiden Boyle, Courtney Landers, Emily Boyle, Desiree Landers, Timber Boyle, and Saige Boyle. Sisters; Mary Boyle, Michele and husband Dan Merchant, Veronica Boyle, Annette and husband Wes McIndoe. Brothers; Thomas and wife Wanda Boyle, David and wife Naomi Boyle, Louis and wife Joanne Boyle, and Tim Boyle, and extended family and friends.
