John E. Bradley, age 76, of Syracuse, peacefully departed this life on January 16, 2026 in Goshen, Indiana. He was born on July 17, 1949 in Goshen, Indiana to Lester R. Bradley and Myrtle (Charlton) Chupp who later married Jacob Chupp. He married Diana S. Laughlin on July 4, 1979 in Syracuse, Indiana.

John embarked on a journey of hard work from a young age. Circumstances led him to leave school early to assist his family, starting his career at Pan American Screw. His commitment to his country prompted him to join the U.S. Army, where he served with distinction for a total of eight years. During his time in the Army, he completed two tours in Germany, served at Fort Hood, where he was appointed section chief of the Fire Direction Center, and was also assigned as a Repair Parts Specialist and to the Hawk Missile Site. John proudly earned his GED while serving, exemplifying his determination and dedication to personal and professional growth.

Following his military career, John significantly contributed to the community for 26 years as a valued employee at Haab Insulation in New Paris. His work ethic and steadfast dedication were trademarks of his character.

John possessed a vibrant array of interests that added joy to his life. He was an avid car racing fan and a huge supporter of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He had a deep passion for both college and NFL football, making him a well-rounded sports enthusiast.

He leaves behind a loving family. His wife of 46 years, Diana S. Bradley, of Syracuse, who helped raise their four children: Amy (Ronald, Jr.) Church of Cromwell, Joshua J. Bradley of Syracuse, Johnathan C. Bradley of Syracuse, and Amber J.E. (Travus) Elm of Wisconsin. John also adored his six grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life whenever he got to see or talk to them. John is survived by his siblings, including his sister, Phyllis Chupp of Elkhart, and brothers Jeff (Jackie) Bradley of Milford and James (Pam) Bradley of Bristol. He was preceded in death by his parents and a beloved grandson, Ernest Elm.

John E. Bradley's legacy of service, love, and enthusiasm for life will continue to resonate within all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit and contributions will be forever cherished. Titus Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington Street, Syracuse, Indiana has been entrusted with John's care.
