John Brewer Obituary
John Wilder Brewer Jr of Spencer, passed away at home on Monday, May 22nd. John was a loving man, and a friend to all he met. He was always willing to help someone in need and opened his door to family and friends, many of whom have stories of their time staying with him. John spent his free time on his land. Having had an affinity for animals and nature, he could often be found at the pond feeding his fish. He is survived by his brother, Carl (Eddie) Brewer of Danby, his daughters, Carolyn Brewer of Danby, and Machelle Brewer of Ithaca, his son, Clayton Brewer of Dryden, 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Kathryn (Beth) Happel of Danby. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 11th from 1 to 5 pm, at American Legion Post 221, 1231 Danby Rd, Ithaca NY.
