John C. Brodowski of Oak Creek, Wisconsin passed away on March 26, 2026 at the age of 81. Born on April 9, 1944 to Alexander and Celia Brodowski, he was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Boys Tech High School. On September 21, 1974, he married the love of his life Diane (nee Perlacynski) and shared 51 years of marriage. Together they raised two sons, Christopher (Lisa) and Michael. While John held many titles in life, the one he cherished most was that of proud grandpa to Sebastian, Finley, Macklyn and Lennox. He loved them dearly and spoiled them immensely. John is further survived by his sisters-in-law, Camille (Larry) Matel and Cindy (Dan) Hackl and brother-in-law, Gary Perlacynski. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Elliot (Tracy) Matel, Brian (Jane) Matel, Kristy (Walt) Morics, Dawn (LJ) Marx, Scott (Gina) Hackl, along with many great nieces and nephews.
John was a hard-working man, spending 50+ years at JCPenney in various roles.
John loved the simple things in life: trains, fishing, Brewers baseball, traveling to Door County, cigars on the porch, Velcro tennis shoes and his Diet Coke. He found his greatest joy in watching his grandchildren playing sports, always proudly cheering them on from the sidelines as their #1 fan.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ascension-Franklin and Hospice Nurse John for their care provided.
Interment private.
