Mr. John Nardin Brown, 74, of Americus, passed away on June 7, 2023 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center in Americus. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church with Pastor Stephen Fripp officiating. The family will greet friends in the sanctuary beginning at 1:00 PM until service time.
Mr. Brown was born December 16, 1948 in Americus, GA to the late Norman and Gloria Jordan Brown. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Mr. Brown began working with Warren Scott Contracting in 1966 and moved up the ranks until his retirement as President of the company, after 47 years of service. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hunting birds and was a die-hard Alabama football fan. Mr. Brown was a family man who loved all of his family and spending time with them.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ann Albritton Brown of Americus, GA; a son, Brian Clark and his wife Melissa of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter, Kimberly Mimbs and her husband, Lee of Monroe, GA; eight grandchildren, Colton Clark, Wade Clark, Mallory Parker (Drew,) Madison DuBois (Chris,) Caleb Sauls, Kim Mimbs, Stephanie Maddox (Andrew,) Hope Mimbs; two great-grandchildren, Harley Parker and Naomi DuBois; a brother, Chuck Brown of Vienna, GA; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
