I knew John from the start of my involvement with Amvets, back around '99.
Marched together, involved in many committees with him along with just the standard biz of the Post.
He was one of the last of a certain "old guard" to still be with us.
May he Rest in Peace. ^+^

John was my best friend. I will miss him forever. He was there in one second to help solve problems , not only for the Amvets Post, but for anyone that needed advice. He was very knowledgeable about any subject that you might ask him about. I will miss his kindness and his willingness to listen. He was a very proud and private man. He will be forever etched in my heart and mind. May John rest in Peace . Always Forever, my best Friend. Joni Curtin
