Beloved husband of the late Christine (Pokorski) Callahan; devoted father of Donna (Carl) Woods, Linda (Frank Reppenhagen IV) Laing, Paul (Kathy) Callahan and Denise (Kevin) McGovern; loving grandfather of Wallace, Ryan, Shawn, Craig, Brendan and Sean; great-grandfather of Colt, Cash, Kevin Cal and Scott; son of the late John J. "Cal" and Rosemond Haggerty Callahan; cherished brother-in-law of the late Janine Kaminski and the late Daniel Pokorski. Family and friends may call on Sunday, November 24th from 3 to 6 p.m., at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park (716) 675-9027, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 25th at 10 a.m. The interment will follow the service at the Hillcrest Cemetery. We are saddened by the loss of Jack.He was one of the first local #41 Electricians I had ever apprenticed for ant under his leadership I can look back on that greatly added to my skills.In addition to that Jack was a fun loving guy to be around.1 thing he taught me was how to order policeman cookies @ the Broadway MARKET,"COP CAKES".& his three polish Cowboys " Jean cola,Jean wubja,& Gene Autry,I´ll never forget.
