John Callin passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the age of 58 years.
John was born in Calgary, AB. He graduated from Bowness high school. John later attended SAIT Polytechnic and became certified as a radiographer. He then found employment in the oil patch a career he enjoyed. Later in his life John worked as a roofer.
Growing up, John played hockey in various community leagues. He enjoyed biking and especially fishing.
John is survived by his son, Derek Callin; his sister, Beverly McEwing; brother, Ervine Callin; and John's longtime friend, Michelle Coleman.
John was predeceased by his mother, Jean Callin; and brothers, Jim Callin and Dave Karpyshyn.
A celebration of life for John will be held a later date.
If friends desire, Donations in John's name can be made to the Calgary Alpha House Society.
