Sandra J. Callin

Sandra Joy Callin (Raska) passed away Monday, September 29, 2025 at her home surrounded by family.
Sandra was born on July 28, 1945 in Amery, WI to Melvin (Pete) and Norma (McConnell) Raska. She had 9 siblings and attended Osceola High school. On October 19, 1963, she was united in marriage to Duane Callin. This marriage was blessed with four children, Randy, Rhonda, Rochelle and Rebecca. Together, Duane and Sandra bought a farm around Osceola in 1968 where they raised Holstein steers and had horses, sheep, chickens, cats and dogs, all while farming crops. While raising her children, she also worked at UFE and retired after 37 years in the Dresser Assembly Plant.
Sandra loved caring for her children, attending her grandchildren's sporting events, watching the people she loved and going to the cabin with her family. She also enjoyed polka dancing with Duane, going to the casino, traveling and car races. She was a very strong woman that would help in any way she could and was an awesome cook for her family. Her favorite meal being steak and potatoes. She was everyone's grandma especially to any child needing a hug. She will be dearly missed by many.
Sandra is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Duane; parents, Melvin (Pete) and Norma Raska; brothers, Herman and Brian and father and mother-in law, Milo and Elenore Measner.
Sandra is survived by her four children, Randy Callin, Osceola, WI; Rhonda (Greg) Reding, Chisago City, MN; Rochelle (Tim) Schwederske, Osceola, WI; and Rebecca (Brent) Bune of Spring Valley WI; 10 grandchildren, Melissa Pederson, Trevor Reding, Derek Reding, Ashley Arneson, Carmine Garza, Alex Schwederske, Dylan Bune, Brock Bune, Sandy Bune and Boomer Bune; 4 great-granddaughters, Kaylie Richards, Keauna Richards, Penelope Pederson, Scarlet Arneson; siblings, Carol Kammerud, Marvin (Butch) Raska, Leon (Sheree) Raska, Mary (Jerry) Larson, LaVonne (Tom) Schlingmann, Bev (Doug) Johnson, Keith (Sue) Raska; sister-in-law, Jeanine (Tom) Kopel of River Falls, WI; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
