John P. Campbell, 70, passed away on September 11, 2025, after a long health battle. He was born on October 24, 1954.

A born-again Christian, John loved Jesus Christ with all his heart. Before his brother Bill's passing, he was an active member of Bill's ministry in Covington, Kentucky. John also loved computers and was always building new ones.

John is survived by his siblings, Walter Campbell Jr. (Peru, IN), Linda Long (Warsaw, IN), and Nancy Campbell (Peru, IN); and many nieces and nephews, including Danny and Dakota Campbell (Peru, IN), Robert Campbell (Peru, IN), Brittany and Troy Miller (Warsaw, IN), Brandon and Madison Clingaman (Claypool, IN), Billy Campbell (Peru, IN), Patrick Campbell III (Peru, IN), and Shawn and Dancie Campbell (Peru, IN). He is also remembered by several cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia Campbell and Walter Campbell Sr., his brothers, William ("Bill") Campbell and Steve Campbell; and his grandmothers, Margie Campbell and Catherine Alsbaugh.

There will be no visitation, a graveside burial will be on Monday, September 15 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.

John will be deeply missed, and his family takes comfort in knowing he is in a better place.
