Mr. John Franklin Carlisle, III, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born January 3, 1962, in Smyrna, Georgia, to the late John Franklin Carlisle, Jr. and the late Frances Craft Carlisle.
John was a veteran of the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith. John was a friendly and warm-hearted man, known for his goofy sense of humor that could light up any room.
He was a skilled HVAC technician, dedicating his life to his work. Beyond his work, he was a passionate cook and a fantastic baker, often bringing smiles and delicious treats to family gatherings. He found joy in every moment spent fishing, which was one of his greatest loves, where he could relax and enjoy nature.
Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Carlisle.
He is survived by his son, Wes Carlisle, and his daughter, Jordan Carlisle, who will carry on his spirit and sense of humor in their lives.
According to John's wishes, he will be cremated. His family will have a private service at a later date.
Rest in peace, John. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
