John Carusillo Obituary
Born Tuesday, December 31, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Michael V. Carusillo and the late Marion Virginia (Regan) Carusillo.
John was the beloved husband of Nidsy (Mendez) Carusillo and loving father to John Ralph Jr., Joseph A. Carusillo and Amanda E. Carusillo.
Dear brother to Corinne Rita (Vito), Michael Carusillo (Daisy), Richard Carusillo (Phyllis), Mary Cusimano (Joseph). Devoted grandfather to Gwendolyn, and Emma Carusillo. Uncle to many and friend to all who knew and loved him.
John was a hardworking man, always going above and beyond for his family. He was best known for his passion of trucks and cars. John was a member of Teamsters, Local 813 and loved trucking cross country, exploring the United States.
John was a kind, gentle person, always willing to help anyone and had a funny sarcastic wit, that would make you laugh. John brought joy and happiness to everyone he knew and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
A Funeral service will be offered at 8:00 PM on Thursday at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312. Private Cremation to follow
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
In lieu of flowers if you are so moved, donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Center or directly to John's family to honor his memory.
