I remember when I was younger the stories and jokes Uncle Johnny would tell during Easter! You will be dearly missed uncle Johnny!

My sincere condolences to John's family. I first met John while he was sitting on the ground, leaning against the wall out front of the Somerville Ave. firestation in maybe the late 60s where he and my Dad worked. I stopped on my bicycle, said hello and asked if my Dad could come out. John went in and got my Dad. They worked together for years. Then many years later in '84, my husband and I moved to Billerica around the corner from John and Sally. We were surprised to meet again up here and I started passing hellos back and forth between John and my Dad. My Dad passed last Feburary 8th. Maybe now they'll be rehashing days gone by at the Somerville Ave. firestation. I just talked to John a couple weeks ago at his house. He will be greatly missed by all. Rhonda Giles Rizzo
