John A. Churley

John Allen "Al" Churley, 85, of Level Green, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Brookdale Senior Living of Murrysville. Al was born on Jan. 19, 1941, in Braddock, the son of the late John and Ann (Mickolay) Churley. Al was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; he retired as a computer programmer for Westinghouse TCC for over 30 years of service and was a member of St. Regis Church, Trafford. Al is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Geraldine M. (McCarthy) Churley; his children, Greg Churley (Marie) and Karen Musto (Frank); his grandchildren, Robert Smith (Rose), Rebecca Smith, Renee Smith, Austin and Avery Musto, Faith Churley, and Addison and Alex Musto; two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Cassidy; his sister, Ruth Churley-Strom (Paul) of Michigan; and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2026, in JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 702 Seventh St. (State Route 130) Trafford, 412-372-3110. Parting prayers of transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2026, in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Regis Church, Trafford.
