John Jude Collisi

John Jude Collisi of Walled Lake was born January 19, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI to John and Dorothy Collisi. John died on August 20, 2024 at the age of 81.
John is the beloved spouse of Diane Collisi, who preceded him in death, father to Daniel (Barbara) Collisi and Jennifer (Dennis) Cnudde. He is also survived by his sister Jean (Milton) Torres and brother James Collisi, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
John graduated high school in 1958 in Indianapolis, IN and later moved with his parents and siblings to Parma, OH. He joined the US Army in February 1964 and returned to Ohio to marry Diane in November 1964. They moved to Texas where John was stationed at Ft. Bliss. Upon John's discharge from they Army, they moved back to the Cleveland, OH area to start their family. John worked for General Motors in Ohio and in 1971 moved to Walled Laked continuing his employment at the proving grounds for General Motors until his retirement in 1999.
John enjoyed coaching his son's and daughter's baseball and softball teams. He also enjoyed camping and boating with his family, and converted several vans into campers. He was a devout Catholic and family man, doing everything he could to help his children reach their goals and took great pride in their accomplishments.
A mass in his memory is scheduled for Friday, September 20, 2024 at 9:30 am at St. William Parish in Walled Lake. Family will receive visitors beginning at 9am at the church. He will be laid to rest with his beloved wife at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
