John Coman

John Coman, 59, of Paterson passed away on November 27, 2015. Born in New York, NY, Mr. Coman was raised in Clifton and had lived in Paterson for the last ten years. He was an active volunteer with many charitable organizations in the area for many years and was a former parishioner of St. Paul RC Church in Clifton. Mr. Coman was predeceased by his mother, Anna (nee Cavociello) in 2011 and by his brother, Paul V. Coman, earlier this year. He is survived by his father, Viorel Coman, of Clifton; a brother, Basil Coman, of Altmar, NY; three sisters: Maria (Mitzi) Rogers of Clifton, Ann Santos of Virginia and Victoria Alesi of Clifton; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at St. Paul RC Church, cor. Union Avenue and Second Street, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Eva's Kitchen (www.evasvillage.org), 393 Main Street, Paterson, NJ 075001 would be preferred and appreciated.
