JOHN P. "JACK" CONROY

CONROY, John "Jack" P. Age 87, of Hingham, passed away peacefully on August 7th. Born in South Boston to the late Patrick and Mary (McDonough) Conroy, Jack was a proud "Triple Eagle," having graduated from Boston College High School, Boston College, and Boston College Law School. Jack started his career at KPMG and ultimately left to start his own tax practice. He continued to be an active tax advisor until his death, but his true passion was spending time with his family and many friends. His positivity and outlook on life were an inspiration to many. In addition to spending time with loved ones, Jack was actively involved with the Friends of Norcap organization for over thirty years. Jack was the beloved husband of the late Patricia (Loughlin) Conroy. He was a devoted father to Patrick Conroy and his wife Corinne of Hingham, Kathleen Daskal and her husband Jeff of Marietta, GA, and the late Timothy Conroy and his wife Kristen of Hanover. He was the cherished grandfather of Aiden, Emily, and Brendan Conroy, Hannah and Owen Daskal, and Katherine and Blake Conroy. He is also survived by his brother, Reverend Francis Conroy of Boston; and was predeceased by his loving sisters, Annellen Valle and Mary Hogan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Gregory Church, 2223 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, Friday August 15, 2025, at 10:30 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather at Dolan Funeral home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, prior to the Mass from 9-10 AM. Interment will be private.
