John and I were very good friends for many years. We enjoyed playing music together with our Piano Accordion. What I remember most is when John and I went on a Veterans bus trip. On the way. everyone on the bus stayed overnight at a hotel. At 6:00AM, we got back on the bus. It was very dark outside. John was looking out the window and said "What a beautiful view." Then he said "Oh, that's my reflection." I will never forget what he said. John and I enjoyed our friendship.

John was a neighbor of my Mom and Dad for many years. After we lost my Dad in 2005 he was very good to my Mom. Especially so after she moved to the Madison area. She looked for and appreciated his calls updating her about the neighborhood back home. Our heartfelt sympathies to John´s family. He was a kind man.

John was a great friend, who will be missed by many. I remember playing accordion with John and the group of eight other accordion players on Wednesdays of every other week. That was wonderful times where everyone would enjoy the friendships.
