I am very sorry to learn that Jack has passed away. I only recently learned of this, and am sorry that I missed the wake and funeral. Jack was a mentor to me at Boston Edison when I was designated to do some training for the nuclear engineering department, and I had never done any training before. We had some memorable adventures together as we went through an instructor training course and developed our own version of the training materials. The photo shows Jack, me (at far left) and some of our fellow trainees at a train-the-trainer class in Palo Alto, CA, in ~1977.
Jack was an excellent coach, had an incredible sense of humor, and let nothing fluster him, especially in front of a class. In recent years, he was a great lunch companion and loved reminiscing with me about the days at Edison. I will miss him, and I extend my sympathy to his family.

Heartfelt condolences to all the Cummings family.
Sad to say we never had the pleasure of meeting John but he was always talked about with fondness.
He was the oldest of our 27 Staunton cousins.

I´m so sorry to hear of Jack´s passing. He was a patient of mine at a dental office in Norwood. He was a lively man. He always spoke so long lovingly of his family. I truly enjoyed our visits. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
