John Cuoco, Jr., 90, of Beverly, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Beverly Hospital, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Andreas) Cuoco. John was the loving husband of Mary (Petrosino) Cuoco, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage before her passing.
John was raised and educated in Beverly. He graduated from Beverly High and Beverly Trade School in 1954. John was involved in several Drum Corps in the North Shore area. St. Mary's Beverly, Polish of Salem and The Clippers of Salem to name a few. John was enlisted in the Army for 3 years. He was an honorable veteran who served in Korea and he was in the US Army Signal Corps for 15 months during his time in the Army.
After his time in the service, John worked at many places. He was employed at Bomac, Sage Laboratories in Natck, Solar Observatory in Essex, Sylvania, and EPC Laboratories in Ipswich.
John is survived by his two sons, Mark Cuoco and David Cuoco of Beverly; two grandsons, Jack Cuoco and Daniel Cuoco; two sisters, Catherine Cohane of Beverly, Elizabeth Mitchel and her husband John of West Yarmouth and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Elizabeth Cuoco, his wife, Mary Cuoco, sister Marianne Quirk, bother-in-laws, George Cohane and William Quirk, and daughter-in-law, Marie Cuoco.
John's funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church, 111 New Balch St., Beverly, on Friday, April 25th at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, on Thursday, April 24th, from 4:00-7:00pm. Burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Beverly. Contributions may be made in John's memory to Care Dimensions at www.caredimensions.org. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
