John Byron Daily Jr. passed peacefully on November 13, 2023. He was born on February 25, 1947, to John Daily Sr. and Doris (Cage) Daily. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Jamie (Guthrie) Daily, daughter Johanna Daily and spouse Cydni Bravenec, sisters Caran Baldwin and spouse Roy, Doris Duran, and spouse Kent along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. John proudly served in the Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. After the military he graduated from St. Phillips College with a certification in auto mechanics and was a mechanic for the United States Post Office. He was a devout Christian and participated as a pilgrim in his Emmaus Walk. He also was a board member for the Greater San Antonio Chrysalis Board. The family would like to thank Morningside Manor and Holy Savior Hospice for their compassion and care for our beloved John. In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to be made to Travis Park Church Music Ministry. A graveside service will be held at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Guestbook available at www.missionparks.com.
