John William Dall, Jr., 90, passed away peacefully February 16, 2026 at home with his loving family. He was born in Waterville on November 09, 1935, the son of the late John Dall, Sr. and Adrienne Bernier.
He graduated from Waterville High School in 1954. He furthered his education at SMVTI in South Portland, a foundation that would serve him well in his professional endeavors. After completing his education, John proudly served in the Air National Guard for two years, exemplifying his commitment to his country. For 18 years, John owned and operated Fulton Machine Shop in Kentucky, where his passion for his work and dedication to his craft earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. He and Virginia spent 15 fulfilling years as members of Wingo Old Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Wingo, Kentucky, where they formed lasting friendships and cherished connections within their community. An avid sportsman, John found joy in the great outdoors and created countless memories with his family. He had an unwavering love for his family and dogs, enjoying every moment spent with them. His fondness for lobsters was legendary, often leading to joyful gatherings where laughter and love filled the air. John's life was a testament to hard work, love, and loyalty. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is predeceased by his parents John Dall, Sr. and Adrienne Bernier and siblings George Dall, Paul Dall, and Dickie Dall.
John is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Virginia Minervino, his loving children Janice Dall, Sandra (Chris) Ward, Lisa Dall, and John Dall III, stepchildren Darlene (Jody) Craine, Debra (Danny) Boyle, Bobby (Mary) Golder, sister Joyce Armstrong, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as his in-laws Cindy Hayden, Delores (Dick) Delorimier, Michael (DeeDee) Minervino, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed, and his legacy of kindness and dedication will continue to inspire us all.
Visitation will take place Saturday February 28, 2026 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 am at The Dolby, Blais, & Segee Westbrook Chapel at 35 Church St. Westbrook, ME 04092.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Southern Maine and Meals on Wheels for their comfort and support.
