John Dandreano Obituary

John Joseph Dandreano passed away on June 2, 2023 at Anne Arundel Medical Center at the age of 81. Known by many as Dan, he was a resident of Gambrills for 42 years. Dan was born January 27,1942 in North White Plains, New York where he attended Archbishop Stepinac High School. After graduation he joined the United States Navy where he spent the next 23 years. Finally retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. Dan enjoyed traveling with his family. His favorite vacation spots were Mexico and Peter Island. He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Betty Dandreano. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Michelle Sullivan of Pasadena, Noelle Etter of Crofton and Danielle Yourgevidge of Severn and 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday June 12th from 5-7 pm at the Hardesty Funeral Home P.A. 851 Annapolis Road Gambrills, MD. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 13 at 11:30 am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, MD. In Lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place , Memphis.TN 38105. Online condolences may be placed at www.hardestyfuneralhome.com
