John David "Brown" Roberts Obituary
Mr. John David Roberts, age 74, affectionately known to many as “Brown,” entered into rest on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. A registry is available at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home for anyone who would like to pay their respects.
Mr. Roberts was born February 4, 1949 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Claude and Anna Lee Rollings Roberts. He was employed with Britt Rollins Painting, and formerly worked for Nathan Rollins & Son Painting, and Donald Plyler Construction for 29 years. Brown proudly assumed the role of "Foreman" on each job he worked.
Brown enjoyed working outdoors keeping his yard clean and sitting in his barn listening to Joy FM. A man who never met a stranger, Brown enjoyed life and had a great sense of humor and kept everyone around him smiling and laughing.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Katherine Walters Roberts of the home; children, David Lee Roberts, and John Lee Roberts both of Jefferson, SC; grandson, Devin Roberts; brother, David Michael Roberts of Mt. Croghan, SC; niece, Julie Roberts; and nephew, Tyler Roberts.
The family would like to express their appreciation to special family friends, Britt Rollins, Howard Airrington, and Loretta Parham for their friendship and support through the years.
